1.8L Civic Cylinder Head on 2.2L Accord EX??
I had somebody come into my work and make a suggestion I put a 1.8L Cylinder head on my Accord for higher compression. But if that doesn't make any sense it could be because that's not what he said haha.
I'm still educating myself and can't remember what he said. Does that sound right? or like its even a good idea??

It won't work. Different bolts, much smaller bore. The water ports, oil drains/passages timing gears etc nothing will line up. Not to mention the head is designed to flow air for an engine that's 400 CCs smaller.

the Prelude 2.2/2.3 DOHC heads can be swapped onto your accord. this may bump your compression some. however, there are other ways to increase comp. ratio and general performance output of your accord's engine... see the FAQs page for more info.

either this somebody was pulling your leg, or they are dumb enough to think they could sound cool by giving you performance advice..
Thanks guys, I had a feeling they wouldnt be interchangable. The kid seemed pretty stupid. Probably just wanted to sound cool.
