Default new to management...some questions about a chipped p28 with s100

so one of my friends gave me a p28 today that is socketed and has s100 in it. he has been using it on his boosted em1 and recently went with another setup and ecu with s300. i am running a 95 civic with a b16a 5 speed that has gsr cams in it. my plans are to have phearable make a chip and send it to me mainly for the 2step and remove speed limiter. my question is will the s100 even benefit me or should i sell it? how would i use it? he has the rom editor and other stuff that i could use but i just thought that since its socketed, that the chip would be all that i would need.

The s100 module is pointless unless you have an s200 module to tune with along with a romulator & the romeditor v4 software and dongle cable.

j12 must be removed to properly datalog with an s200/s300 module.

I would sell the s100 module & go to s300 if anything.

awesome, thank you for the advice! ill definately sell the s100 and get you to make a chip for me! chipping cannot delete the iacv can it? also, will 2step work without a clutch switch? im hoping to benefit from a chip also by the way of my idle. eversince i switched to gsr cams my car wont idle exactly right. its been idling at around 400 with the idle adjust screw all the way out and i also re-timed with timing light and the service connector jumped. sometimes it will fall down to nothing and bounce back to 400 before it dies when i press the clutch in coming to a stop

I wouldn't recommend removing the iacv.
Concerning a low idle, is your car throwing any codes?
If so, resolve them! Especially an iacv code.

How much vacuum does your motor pull at idle?
Do you have a wideband on the car? If so, what a/f ratios are you seeing at an idle?
Have you double checked your cam timing/timing belt to make sure it's at top dead center?
Have you checked your distributor timing?

It sounds like there maybe something actually wrong with the engine if it idle's so low and the iacv is working properly & everything is checking out.
