Last weekend I snapped the ball joint on passenger side of my car. thankfully not on highway. It pulled the axle out also. Two questions: 1. Will the tripod bearing on the axle need replaced? 2. Supposedly ball joints were replaced before i bought it (6 months ago). Is there a more suitable replacement that is more durable and maybe has a lifetime warranty?

 

Go with a Honda one if you want it to last; thats only if Honda carries them. About the axle, minus well just get a reman one from Carquest, Napa, etc with core.

My '95 Prizm did the same thing and pulled the axle out too.
