Default color changes and sealers

I was wondering How important or necassary is it to use a sealer when changing colors

if your changing the color, you should definitely seal the car. light colors are transparent so you can spot it easy, darker colors you might be able to get away with it but in the sunlight you might catch the color change here and there.

Ok thanks Im going from black to blue. Are my steps correct ? theres no body work needed just changing colors. So first wash the car than sand it down wash it again spray with wax and greese remover tack it off with a tack rag spray with sealer. wax and greese remover agin followed by tacking it again. than base coat/ clear. Thanks again'

ya , prep ,seal, base , clear but the color of the sealer can change the blue. white sealer can make the blue brighter , dark sealer makes the blue deeper but you might need another coat of color for coverage. (depending)
