Default Cracked head or block?

Just bought a 88 crx si (stock engine) 180k, thats putting oil in the coolant. Engine fans are shot so it probably overheated. I pulled the head but couldn't see anywhere where the gasket was blown, Checked the head for being warped and it is in spec. Can't visually see any cracks in the head or block.

Just wondering if anyone has seen any problems with these blocks cracking, i know the accords had some issues with this but wondering if I should just get a new head and try it out.

i don't believe its very common that either crack, less common of the two being the block. So if the head is level i would throw a new gasket on it and hope for the best.
