I burned 2 quarts of OIL in 300 miles this time!!!
It happened again, I went on a trip and the OIL burned quickly. I called up Honda and they Mechanic finally told me that it wasnt normal. I am supposed to take it in on thursday, but I dont know if I want to take it there.
Im pretty sure it is my Piston Rings, cause I already had my Valve seals replaced, if it is my Piston Rings, which is the best way to go? Rebuild or B18C5?

i'd take the rebuild, and bore out to 84 mm and call it a day
higher compression forged pistons (12.0:1 or higher), and replace the rods and rockers while im in there
save up about 2k and go 2.0 liter
I am rebuilding completely my b18c1 instead of puting money into ats and skunk2 intake manifold, I kinda wish I went with a 2.0
but, there are good sides to either direction
decide how much you wana spend, is the car just daily driver? how fast you wana go, things of that sort

what kind of oil? some oils burn tremendously faster than others (ie mobil 1) try another oil, then go from there.

I burning oil pretty fast as well. 2qts in 1000mi. The compression must be good because the performance is still there. CTR pistons with rings can be had for pretty cheap. Throw in a Mugen/Spoon head gasket and you're good to go. That's the route I'll probably take when the time comes.
CTRs in a C1 will give you like 12.3:1, plus the gasket 12.5:1, a little much ulness you are running cams with alot of overlap.

). On a C5 that would put you around 11.3-11.4 if I'm correct.

Did you do a compression test or cylinder leak down test yet?

I dont really have any money to spend, but if I have to get something done, Im not gonna go back to stock.
