service check connector for 2000 accord SE
I spent more than two hours trying to find the connector and failed to find one. Per service manual, it's under the dash of passengers side with green/black, brown wire 2P. Only 2P i see is yellow/green, brown with gray connector and that was not it.
Can anybody tell me where the service check connector is?.
Picture or diagram would be great to pinpoint. I need to get my timing set.

Not sure if model year 00 has the connector. I know in my 4th gen Accord the connector is located right under the hinges for the the glove box and it is Blue in color. Hope this helps you.
thanks for reply.I don't have any blue connector...The only i was looking for the connector was to short ECU so that I can set ignition timing..
there isn't a separate service connector on '98-'02 accords. the same "paperclip trick" can be done on the OBD-II 16 pin data port.

jump terminal #8 and #13. then, with the key in the ON position and the engine OFF, the CEL will flash the code just the same as any OBD-I would.
