Hello everyone I have some questions. my crx has a dohc zc and after I get on it real hard ill slow down after eventually coming to a stop and the idle will bouce. It does it when I stop everytime at a light or whatever until I drive home and turn the car car off. Id go to bed for the night come out the next day start it and itll be just normal that day.

Later that night I got on it again and the same thing happened. I dont even drive my car hard all the time and I rarely do. its just the last like three times or so ive decided to get on it it does this.. Any idea what could be going on?

This all posted below has happened prior to the hard driving lately but.. Also the car recently starts rough like it doesnt want to, then the idle bounces a bit until the car seems to be a little warm stops itself then ill take off drive around town w. No bouncing idle but when I stop at a light the idle drops reeealy low like 1 or 200.. Rpm Needle looks like it isnt even up and sometime will drop so low the battery light and one other comes on and itll die sometimes. Ill save it sometimes by reving but im confused and I habe to slightly push on the gas w. Clutch in to keep it from going so low because I think its going to die. any help would be appreciated.


Sorry for a long post but I tried to be as descriptive as possible thanks.

 

Could be a lot of different things. Distributor coil going bad, Could be different sensors, could be a vacuum problem, throttle cable adjustment, fould spark plug, could be host of different reasons.

-In the future I wouldent talk about racing and maybe more people will want to help you.

 

Is it running on a chipped ecu?

 

To my knowledge the pm7 I bought wasnt chipped.
