Need some help.... I'm doin a b18a1 swap into my 99 auto civic hx... history on my car... use to be an auto with the cvt trans.. did a 5 speed swap. now did a ls swap currently using a 96 ex manual harness got everything hooked up.. bought a jumper harness and have it hooked up to a pr4 ecu... now here is the problem... I turn the key fuel pump does not work. Car cranks but no fuel. Somebody please help... funny thing is before I took out my original harness and ecu everything worked car started but I want to run a manual harness and ls ecu.

 

DA B18A1? Thats a pretty strange swap...

Why didn't you go w/ the more reliable and tried B18B?

 

Well I got the motor for a good price and thought it would've been a simple enough swap.

its always a bit more complicated when you end up doing different and older OBD #'s

some of those older B18A1's are OBD0 so that could be a real pain... What year is it?

 

Was told that's its a 93

 

can always check the head for the date stamp...
but if its a 93... it should be OBD1 so that should be ok, more or less lol

 

Ya its a 93.. but the motor isnt my problem....
