Powerslot Rotors! Please Help!!
Okay.
So, I finally got new brakes (powerslotted rotors on all corners) and some new pads.
Before I got brakes my rotors were massivly warped, the car didnt stop for crap.
I take it in, get the work done, im leaving teh shop...
The pedal goes all the way to the floor before it starts braking (or damn close) and it doesnt stop for ****!
I know brakes have to be broken in, but whenever I got brakes done before I was always like "oh wow, this rules" casue they were all touchy and stuff.
What do you guys think?
Just to update you: I had them rebled by the place that did it for me. The fluid is full. The rotors seem to be heating up extremely fast (I can drive 1 block or 2 and they are warm after just regular braking).
The pedal moves about 3/4ths of an inch when the car is off and I pump it until the brake is "hard", it still moves 3/4ths of an inch.
The braking seems to get *worse* the longer I drive. I can barely even lock up the tires (only tried twice because im breaking it in) because I run out of room, the pedal basically goes down as far as it can.
It moves about 2 inches before it even starts stopping the car.
Whhat do you guys think?

something is truely wrong take it to another shop. if they find something wrong with the brake job that you had previously done i believe if you take the bill to the other shop they have to pay for it. i dunno, might be a master cylinder. i am not really good at diagnosing things like that so....pretty much my suggestion is take it in and have another shop look at it. my boy says his ebc brake pads and ebc rotors stop him a lot faster with less petal so...have it checked out.
Did they make sure to pump the brakes like mad before they drove it out? I changed my brakes to Brembo Power Stop cross drilled and Akibono pads and didn have any problems, but when you start the car you're supposed to pump the **** out of the brakes after working on them, to get the pressure back. The wear is different for every manufacurer is different, mine was 500 miles, but I still had good braking.
