Default 91 DX - Hard to start

Guys,
I'll give you all the info on the vehicle, and everything I've checked or looked at so far. Not really had much time as of yet.

91 DX DPFI

-Cranks Fast
-Usually Starts after about 5 or 6 Tries (With a couple extra Fuel Pump primes in between)
-Both injectors OHM out
-Not sure about fuel pressure, should know Monday. Had to order the banjo bolt.
-Swapped the dizzy with an extra one I had. (Same problem)
-Car died on my the other night while cruising at 40mph. Had to tow, never got it started. urrrggghh!!

I did check the Throttle Angle Sensor tonight, just out of curiosity.
Now Im not sure if these have the same readings as a normal "TPS". I assume they would, Honda just called them something different waay back then.

---------Readings I took from the Throttle Angle Sensor (TPS) ------------
-.70v Closed Throttle
-4.29v WOT

I guess the only question I have as of now is... Would a TPS out of adjustment be reason for these hard starts?

Also any thoughts/ideas/suggestions are more than welcome.

Thanks for looking.
Have a great night!

Main relay, I would look at that first.
If you have smooth throttle response and no dead spots, then TPS is ok.
When was the last time you checked your fuel filter?

Well I assumed the main relay was fine, because I can hear the pump prime.

I haven't actually checked it. I mean people have said that, kinda seems like everybody always says that. I've replace many of fuel filters, but never seen any improvement. When you say check it, do you mean blow through it?

The main relay also provides voltage to the injectors as well. Go to a wrecker and pull one from another ef. Swap it in.

As for the fuel filter, they should be changed every couple years. Take yours out, and pour the contents into a jar and look for water and rust..

I agree, I need to do both of those...

Here are some more results. I attached the Fuel pressure gauge, as I said i was.

40psi with the vacuum line disconnected from the pressure regulator.
I glanced under the dash for a couple seconds, couldn't spot the main relay right off. Was I just over looking it? Is it red/brown like the rest of them?

Re soldered all the joints on my main relay today. (didn't look bad at all) Also tested it according to the haynes manual.

Still the same deal. Usually fires on about the 3rd or 4th try.

Possible leaky injector?

My main relay didn't fix my issue. I replaced it, and the car would still die on me at random times. Turned out to be my ECU. I replaced the ECU, and car ran fine after that.

Even tho my Haynes Manual leads me to fuel injectors.. Everything I see leads me away from them. Main relay tests out, injectors ohm out, Fuel Pressure is perfect.

When I swapped distributors, I figured that would rule out most spark issues.... My above results, and the fact that the car runs perfect when started led me back to the ignition system. So, yesterday I pulled the Dist Cap so that I could check the ignition coil, and igniter. As soon as I got the cap off, I noticed something I didn't notice when I originally put that distributor in. The Ignition coil is cracked in like 3 places.

So, I'll be replacing that soon and I'll report back.

Ignition Coil was a no go.
