Default 94 accord keeps dying after a minute of driving

1994 accord dx will die after about a minute or 2 of driving, but then it will start up again if you wait about 2 minutes and run find for about a minute

when it dies the intake manifold is making alot of noise honestly to me it sounds like a external wastegate opening up its loud, but when i let it sit and restart it runs fine...

the car has a new headgasket, new distributor and coil, new fuel filter and no check engine lights, and the check engine light does work i verified that... i am stumped any help ??

also it has a brand new cat put in about a month ago so i dont think it is a clogged cat, but who knows

What mod's are on this.....I saw the wastegate comment and went on, I'm not any help if there are mod's.
If stock, when was the last time a good tune up was done, see you replaced the dist....rotor, cap, fuel filter, ect.

When it dies, what lights are on in the dash.
