TEIN HA with helper spring ....had been fully lowered down maximum to the last thread that the adjuster plate can go and still got this kind of clearance(around 1 inch) what else can do done so i can lower it further without sacrifice the intergrity n durability of the shocks?

 

its a spring or coilover?

 

coilover.....bought it from a used part shop from japan...

the 1 inch im toking abt is in between the tyre n the quarter panel edge ,i wish to lowered further so my 17" will be slightly tucked in the wheel well....only the rear end have this problem the front is good.

 

when i had coil overs i took off one of the rings at the bottom. try to take off the very bottom ring and leave the bigger one on it looks like thats what the spring sits on i cant remember it been awhile

that bottom ring is the locking ring...DO NOT remove it.

i have these same coilovers and can slam my car to the ground, just choose not to.

are the shocks sitting if the fork perches fully?

 

ya ya i know it works like a "lock nut" i won remove that
