93 civic dx

The wires are located along with the ignition wires in the steering column. They are separated inside their own sleeve they are two identical wires, blue with white stripes.


I ask due to finding them under the column cover cut and hanging loosely next to the ignition switch.

 

If a '93 Civic is at all like my '88 CRX, it's to the key-in reminder, which mounts to the bottom of the tumbler right next to where you insert the key. The part that mounts to the tumbler is a black square of plastic.

Sweet! I wasn't 100% sure. I just happened to swap the ignition switch (with wiring) in my CRX so I just remembered from doing that about half an hour before I saw your question.
