Default Throttle body goes whoooooosh lol

ok so i ran wires for my FICV hooked the black/yellow to the black/yellow on the sensor next to it, and rand the blue wire to b2 on the ecu. still didnt fix my high idle. got to playing around with stuff and the hole on the middle left side of the TB is pulling in air like CRAZY, plugged it with my finger and the car drops to normal idle temp. been doing some reading and it seems like the FICV that i JUST hooked up is bad.... am i on the right path here?

The FITV has no wires. it's only coolant temp controlled. Sounds like you needs to screw the white piece inside it back together as it may have fallen out. Search in the FAQ its in there. -Later, BR

When you plug the vacuum port coming from ficsv does the idle go down, i can't remember how the channels move through the throttlebody so i'm trying to figure out whether its the ficsv or an iacv issue.

i meant the port from the outside of the manifold with the vaccum line that goes directly to the ficsv. what happens if you temporarily plug that off? i'm fairly confident the iacv is at fault but just trying to verify. you could also unplug the iacv 2 pin connector and see if the idle drops down, which would tell you the iacv is at fault.

ok just unpluged the IACV and it idled a hair above 1k, so this is my issue, i took it off and cleaned it bc the screen was gumed up completely, but its still doing the same thing when i plug it back in, and idling fine when i unplug it, so is it safe to just leave it unplugged?

Well, did you fix it? Might as well put your solution to your problem down so when someone happens to search and find this post they can fix it too.
