Im looking to get into the bseries game. this guy i know has a b18b1 for sale for $200. is that a good deal?

also what honda parts can i intermingle to acheive higher horse power. iver been told that i can put gsr pistions in the b18b1 and push 190hp??

any help would be great ive allways delt with d series and im sick of no power.

 

when you say he has a "b18b1" is that strictly the motor? or tranny, ECU, and all that too?
how much miles? try to make sure it's not stolen.

$200 is a great deal. It's either stolen or broken is my bet.

GSR pistons alone will not get you any where near the 190hp mark.

 

$200 130k on it... has the title for the motor from the car it was out of. just saw it run last saturday before he pulled it,.

 

for axles, ecu, and tranny too?
otherwise your going to have to source all those out. still cheap though.
