I have a 96 civic dx and the ac blows cold only in the mornings at night or on a cloudy day but when its mid afternoon and super hot it will blow warm. ive heard it could be the ac switch thats toast. but im not sure how to ground the blu/red wire to test it. i also have heard you can resolder the bad terminals but im not sure i can do that. do you think buying a used one on ebay maybe ok? or buying one that old would be kinda pointless. any help on this much appreciated. thanks

When the A/C is turned on and blows warm, does the condenser fan run? Does the compressor clutch engage?
