my gauge rec ently has begun to read all weird.( i know they arent accurate to begin with) but lately instead of like one or two lights lighting up at a time its like 8 or 10. the band is really wide. does anyone have any ideas why?

 

my guess is because it is a piece of ****, is it an autometer gauge?
