Default Unusual over heating issue

Car: Crx with LS motor with 30,000 miles

Problem: at idle the car stays cool (170deg) but if I drive for more then 10 min it will start to over heat. The temp gets to 210 and still goes up if I keep driving.

What I have checked/changes: I have put a dual core rad in it, I did a compression test and that was good, I hooked the fan up so that is stays on all the time, I jacked the car up and bled the system, I put a new water pump in when I first put the motor in which was about 3 years ago but since the I have only put 1,000 miles on it, I put a new thermostat in.

I'm stumped as to what it is, this has been an ongoing problem for me and I can't seem to figure it out. The only thing that I was thinking was that the waterpump has seezed and is not working

The fan on at all times is a bad idea. Fixing it won't solve your current problem, but you should fix that when you get everything else working.

Sounds like maybe you have air in the system or the thermostat failed or was installed wrong. Since you seem to have bled it, try removing the thermostat and running it without to see if you still have the same problem. Ideally, if the thermostat is the problem, you will have the opposite issue where it will heat up at idle and then cool down when driving.
