Default B18C1 motor mount issues - Need help

Hey guys, I'm currently in the process of swapping my old B16A Sir 1(OBD0) for a B18C1 (OBD1) in my 90 DX Hatch. I just got the B16 out and sat it next to the GSR, then I got to looking, the motor mount on the right on the GSR (able to read the valve cover) is different. The 2 studs that hook to the mount are positioned different than on the B16. WTF? Is this normal? I havn't read too much into GSR's... and probably should have, but I've got the motor and I have to get it in. I looked closer and looks like that bracket could be interchanged but the timing belt cover is in the way and I am not trying to take the pulleys off. What to do? Also, the left tranny mount doesn't look correct either but I could be wrong... Just kinda upset me so I'm off to get lunch and hopefully get some answers/suggestions from the community.

Also what else am I going to run into? It's a complete '94 B18C1 with an S80 trans and P72 ECU.

Thought this swap was gonna be cake since it was just another B series getting dropped in... plz help my ignorance guys!

Switch the post mount from the B16 over to the gsr. You're going to have to add wiring for butterflies in the manifold.

When I switch the post, is it best to just bend the timing belt cover out of the way? I noticed it needs to be bent pretty far to get the lower 3rd bolt out.

and do you have a link you could post for the wire diagram? or some thread related to that? I would normally search for it myself but I am on a crappy smart phone with limited signal. It takes me forever just to get to this page and reply. It would make my life so much better right now if u could help with that.

are there any other issues I might run into? The harness should just clip right in since I already had a b-series in it right? even though it was obd0?

Ok, got the right side motor mount swapped, now I'm looking at the trans mount and it is NOT gonna match up with my b16 mount... and the mount I have for the gsr, is too wide to fit into the bracket in the engine bay... Am I going to have to order more mounts? I thought one b series mount was just like any...

sounds to me like you need to do some searching! google the swap, theres tons of info out there!!! BTW, use your b16 tranny, its better then the GSR anyway, sounds like you might have a hydro gsr tranny, also, your gonna need a GSR ecu to run those butterflys, they are rare but i happen to have one for sale, just PM me for pricing!!

Pretty simple swap, and the engine post mount was a given.

I would say you have a few choices with the gsr manifold, which i don't like. You can use it and do some custom wiring, or you can buy a nice regular style after market intake manifold which will save you from hooking up the butterflies and maybe make a touch more power.....or, you can swap the head for the B16 one you have now

yea, i know I need to do some research. I just couldn't do much on my phone yesterday cuz it took forever to load a page... if you read my post, that was the reason for me asking for others to do some leg work for me since I was in a bind, but now I see how far that gets me on here...

I don't have a b16 trans, it got swapped for an ls trans when it bit the dust. I do have a hydro trans and I said I had a p72 obd1 ecu for the gsr... but that was in a post you didnt read either...

Why does everyone hate the manifold so bad? If you have the correct ecu, it should run right, correct?

and as far as swapping for my sir1 head and intake manifold, does it matter that it is an obd0? Would it be really be better?

You will need a hydro mount for your car and a cable/hyrdro actuator since your new transmission is hydro.

Yea, I have the actuator, I just had no clue about the transmission mount.

Does anyone have one for sell? or a set for sale?
