honda accord steering wheel compatibility
got a 97 honda accord, and wanting the stock steering wheel and airbag back unfortuantly i sold the original ones so gotta go on ebay or junk yard to find an OEM one.
I know 96 steering wheels will fit, but i found a cheap 96 accord V6 steering wheel (with out airbag) and wondering if the V6 part matters or if its the same steering wheel. and if a non v6 96 airbag will fit. I can get both for 100 together.
The other option that i found is a 94 airbag thats cheaper (no v6) and a 96 V6 steering wheel
just dont know the compatibility with each other or if anything 94-97 non v6 or v6 have any isuses fitting on each other.
Thanks
ps i did try a search but seems like it brought up every thread ever created that had nothing to do with steering wheels

For starters, you need to use an Advanced Search and narrow it down to the Accord section which helps tremendously.
Secondly, you could have used a site like HondaAutomotiveParts to check part numbers between the vehicles to see if they will work.
Third, you could have looked at aftermarket wheel options and see if 94-97 Accords all were compatible with the same aftermarket equipment, implying then that they are all compatible with similar OEM equipment.
1994 Honda Accord EX
1997 Honda Accord EX
1997 Honda Accord LX-V6 (no leather)
You can see from those links the LX-V6 and EX have the same part numbers, therefore are compatible. The 1994 does not have the same part numbers however could be a slight cosmetic change for whatever reason. If you then looked at aftermarket options (such as the NRG short hub) you would see the 94-97 Accord all use the SRK-130H, also implying they are all swappable with one another since the splines would be similar.
