There was a system marketed in the states by the name of The Dragon some years back.....it had a very annoyying flaw...local Fire departments would think that the cars were on FIRE!!!!!...draw your own conclusion It was tied into a radar sensor...it would smoke up the car...crooks couldnt steal what they couldnt see.

Damn maybe I am getting old.......

yeah they are illegal, if someone actually broke into your car and got smoked he could probaly sue. Just like the story where the burgular fell on that kitchen knife and sued the lady

The design of the system is the obstruct viewing into the vehicle by emiting a dense smoke cloud.....harmless but effective. A thief cant steal what they cant see...so if your buds wanna be dicks..you car will be smoked out...Now you see why this system isnt advertised here anymore.

its not illegal at all. just impractical like roach said. there was a system called "the dragon" you had a cartride unit under your seat and when set off would put a dense smoke into your cabin. it was odorless and wouldnt leave a residue. i had one in my shop. worthless. if you opened the door quick enough, the smoke would get pulled out. i think the guy payed like 300$ for it too.
