Default I'm back! Pulling the R out of storage.

Hello everybody - probably not many people still around from when I was active on Honda-Tech over 4 years ago, but I'm hoping a few of ya' that remember me are still around. I've got a 98 track ITR that has been sitting in storage for the past 4 years because of some pretty significant changes to my life. There were times when I almost sold the car, but I could never bring myself to do it - I've put too much hard work and love into that car.

Anyway, I've reached a point that I can finally bring her out of storage, clean her up and give her a full inspection/tune-up... and then, well back to the track of course.

Just posting here to say hello and introduce myself again. You'll be seeing me around looking for answers to questions I may have forgotten over the years, shooting the breeze, or providing information to others where I can.

Welcome back, Flux! Glad to hear you kept her. I've given a little bit of thought to selling mine, but I know I'd miss her too much.

I once went about two years without starting mine. But, I stored it properly and made sure I did the proper prepwork before starting it back up.

Climate controlled storage also helps this process.

Draining the gas tank was the hardest part. You have to jack the car at certain angles to get everything out. Even though I used Stabil, I still didn't want to fire it with gas that old.
