We have a 92 Civic LX 4 door that was purchased used.
For some reason, the driver side rear door is stuck shut. I can pull up the lock and pull the inside and outside handles, but it won't open.

I also tried taking the inside door handle out but not luck either. I can get the screw out, but the handle won't come out. It's like it's being held back by something.

Can anyone advise me on what's the best approach to getting the door open without destroying it?

You have to get that door panel off.

 

you dont have the door panel off?

do that first then everything else.

 

Ok, I get that. But how do I get the door panel off? I can get the handle screw out and the ash tray screw, but isn't there some screw at the back of the panel? if so I can't get to that.
