WTB: 90-91 Civic Si PM6 ECU
WTB: 90-91 Civic Si OBD-0 5spd PM6 ecu. Must be in 100% working condition, and out of a 90-91 Civic Si!!!
The last PM6 I bought came out of a '90 EX and wouldn't communicate with the alternator in my Si(when the ELD tells the ECU to tell the alternator to put our more power), either the ECU is bad only in this small way or I can't use the EX PM6 so please make sure the one you're selling came out of a 90-91 Civic Si.
PM me with your price, shipped to 65706. I pay via verified/premier paypal.

Swapped the fusebox twice, alternator three times, battery twice, checked all the wiring, etc. My '90 Civic Si had the voltage problem, my '90 Civic DX did not. After I MPFI + Si converted the DX, it had the votlage problem...and I was using the DX engine harness and DX fuse box. This means it's my Si ecu.
Definitely not the fuse-box. This '90 DX did not have the voltage problem until I did the MPFI conversion and swapped over all my Si gear from my '90 Si that did have the voltage problem. Because I kept my DX fuse-box and engine harness, this means it is either my Si alternator or ECU...and I am 100% sure it's not the alternator. If the ELD was bad, the ECU would throw an ELD code. Also ran the necessary tests on all the ELDs I have here, all pass. Definitely the ECU.
PM me a price shipped to 65706, and what year/model is the ECU out of?

All I know is my PM6 which is out of a '90 EX is not communicating with the alternator after the ELD tells it that the system needs more voltage when stuff is turned on. It could be bad in that small way, or incompatible somehow with my Si gear. I figured my best bet was to just make sure the next replacement is from an Si.
This means it HAS to be the Si ECU, or the Si alternator. I replaced that alternator three times in the Si, the third one was brand-new/not a refurb. I've ran test after test on the alternators, all the ELDs, checked all the wiring, etc.
It is definitely the ECU.
Dude, you're not understanding what I'm saying. The DX did not have a voltage problem, the Si did.
The Si drivetrain and ECU are now in the DX, I am still using the DX fusebox and engine harness. This 100% without-a-doubt proves the Si ECU or Si alternator are the problem.
After replacing and testing the alternator so many times when everything was in the Si, I know it's not the alternator. It is the ECU. It receives a signal from the ELD because there's no CEL for the ELD, the problem is that it's not responding to that signal by cranking the output of the alternator when the ELD tells it to.
