Default EG entertainment system setup ideas (a rough cut layout)

to start, this is all a rough layout of what i plan on doing when i iron out all the problems with the setup

i plan on putting a 7" touch monitor (Lilliput LCDFR-669) into my EG coupe. the monitor go directly where the single din and climate control is. Of course it will need custom work (cutting, fitting screen, relocating CC to optional audio console below), but that'll be for another thread, i wanna be all electronics for this one.

heres a rough (MS Paint) layout of whats gonna be going on:

heres some specs for the monitor:
Features:

7 inch Touch Screen LCD Monitor with HDMI, DVI & VGA Input

4 wire resistive touch panel

Touch screen controller

With AV input, connecting directly to DVD player, as a car entertainment system

Panel Size : 7 inch TFT LCD

Resolution : 800x480, up to 1920x1080

High Brightness : 250cd/m2

Contrast : 500:1

Rear View Camera wire included

Viewing Angle : 140/ 120(H/V)

Input Voltage : DC 12V

Input Signal : PC(VGA),AV1,AV2,HDMI,DVI

Power Consumption : <8W

Audio Output : >1W

Size: 177mm (W) x 107mm (H) x 71mm (D)

Package Weight : 5.5 Lb

Screen weight: 0.75 Lb

ACCESSORIES INCLUDED:

1x 3' VGA 9-pin cable extension
1x Bracket Support
1x Touch pen (on the back of device)
1x Drivers CD
1x 14PIN SKS cable
1x Remote control
1x 12V AC/DC power adapter
1x User Manual

1X HDMI Right angle port saver
1x 3' HDMI signal cable extension
1x 3' DVI line 24+5/DVI-D cable
you can see i plan on including both a 360 and mini-pc (not the one pictured, most likely custom build) as inputs for the monitor

for the 360:
- will be connected via hdmi cable
- audio will be run using the rca adapter then an rca to 3.5mm cord to aux 1 on radio
- powered by a DC to AC inverter (aiming for ~400w inverter)
- i will remove the dvd drive from the console itself and mount it somewhere in the cabin (probably in the glove box, or arm rest if i buy one)

the PC will be similar:
- connected to monitor via VGA cable
- additional USB cable run to monitor for touch control
- 3.5 mm cord run to aux 2 on radio
- will be powered by the same inverter as 360
- one USB extended and mounted in the center (already there)

when it all comes together, the 360 and PC will be mounted in the trunk (debating on either the back seat or off to the side on the floor).

running cables wont be a problem, i've been in and out under the carpet and rear seat

it all seems a bit much, but any audio guru probably knows that its pretty much straight forward wiring, mounting the monitor in the dash cleanly will be the toughest task

i'm asking you guys to give this a look over and to please ask me some questions or any comments incase i need to make some changes

thanks to all that reply

looks simple enough, the only time consuming part i see is the fab work for the touch panel.nice
