Default new 5th gen, questions

yo, just got a new white 5th gen 2 weeks ago. ive had hondas before and i'm glad to be back in the game but i have a few questions. i used the search but it sucks, so bare with me if some of these questions are redundant.
this will be a long term project and what i'd like to do is build my motor on the side and swap it in eventually. i know my h22a4 has frm sidewalls so for the 400 hp i'm eventually looking for. will a k series fit in a 5th gen? or is it worth it just to sleeve and build an h22?
i guess that's about it for now. i'll keep y'all up to date on my progress. i'm looking at wheel possabilities. as of right now, i think i'd like to find a bronze set of 17" falken hanabi's. I've always been a fan and i think they would look good on this car.

No, without a ton of homemade welds, brackets, and mods, it will not fit. Just get the block re-sleeved by Darton or golden eagle, then pop in some forged psitons

MAKE SURE ALL MAINTENANCE IS DONE WITH.

The K swap package alone from HMO is between $3900-5300, sleeving your block is only about $1200 from GE. Pistons and rods aren't that expensive for an Eagle/Wiseco setup [$800-ish]. Balancing and machine shop assembly aren't that much, another $1K?

I just had mine done at GE with Pauter rods and CP pistons, which are about double the price of the Eagle/Wiseco combo, and that cost around $4K shipped.

OK, so I hit the lower end of BUYING the K swap, but my motor bolts right back in. I don't have to figure out mounting, wiring, belt routing, and all the other little issues involved in an advanced swap.

If you want a K swap because it's unique and pretty cool, time, money and research isn't going to be an issue.

Since you're asking if it's worth it, I'm assuming that time, money, or research is an issue.

I'm not against K swapping a Prelude, I've thought about it myself.

What it comes down to is that when you're done with the swap, you're starting at the same place you were at to begin with, about 200 crank hp, and you've dropped $4-5K that you could have spent building your H.

I suppose if you're really dedicated to doing the swap you could piece together a CRV/Element/Accord K24 and source a K20 head and ECU to build it for less, but that's more time and research.

I suppose that's more like $0.04 ... but that's my opinion
