Just thought of this...

I believe both fans on my 88' accord dx run non-stop. I have tried pulling and switching the relays with the same relay from different relay spot...which shut it off....but the other relay didnt do anything. I have pulled the plug from the sensor and it did shut off...just to turn back on when I plugged it back in.

Does it sound like the sensor needs replaced or should I check somewhere else?

 

Stone cold, turn the key on....do the fans run...if so test the switch.

Are you talking about the sensor in bottom of the radiator?

 

ok jsut got off the phone with my buddy TA in PA...Im in IA....he said to find the thermostat housing to find the switch.....but im thinking its the one on the bottom of the radiator.

 

Right/pass side, lower part of the rad......what "plug" did you pull off to make it stop?
