Default GSR dyno number?s

well i got my gsr back from the dyno today and im kinda shocked on the number.

180whp on a mustang dyno. i thought for sure 190-200...it put down 151hp with a meagen racing header and a password intake whale dick intake and N1....set up now follows...

s2 pro1s w/supporting mods springs, cam gears, retainers
RMF narrow header-.... it did nothing for me, kinda bumped i spent 400 on it
twm 52mm itbs
550cc RCs
stock fuel pump
n1 exhaust
etune
installed rod bolts for the 9-10k redline

it makes no more power past 9500 and it has a glitch from 3000-35000 possible ignition issue or tune(doubt its the tune) feels like a solid miss? im kinda blindsided by the low number and the miss, but after the hesitation at 3k it pulls real good til redline.. anyone have similar setups??? whats your HP numbers? am i retarded for thinking thats too low of a hp # or is it right on???

thanks

It's probably in the 190-200HP range on a regular dyno. Maybe smaller ITB's?
Do you drag race?

Lol, you gained nearly 30 whp and you think its low. What about those bolt-on led you to think it was a 40 to 50 whp gain.

Let me get this.
You went from Whale ***** and megan header, made 151.
Now you have ITB's and RMF narrow header, now making 180.
You gained 29whp!!! Why did you think you'd get more?

From some old documents I have laying around, Mustang vs Dynojet about 7%, So you are about 191ish on a jet.

I thought pro1s rmf and itbs would be a solid damn near 200 wheel setup

And you weren't wrong at 191. Time for a bit of compression in the bottom end and retune. Sounds good. You want more than a 30whp gain with a change of parts; go turbo.. otherwise, there's nothing to complain about here. Good job.

I'm thinking it is time to pull the head off. Some PnP and maybe a thinner head gasket or even some pistons. Something in the 11.5:1 range should do very well on you engine.

Right now the glitch from 3k to 3500 is killing more than anything... Wasn't there before tuner said he tried everything to see if it went away but it didn't sounds like a ignition miss then boom gone

With a stock bottom end i think ur compression is a lil to low for pro1's. i think with ur setup as it is will make more power with tuner stage2 cams.I guess 180hp seems a lil low but u came up from 151(with bolt-ons). If anything u started off low, usually gsr's bone stock can pull 145 -155 depending on the dyno type. How many miles on the block? just wondering how healthy ur bottom is.

That's not too bad actually. I have a JDM GSR, 3' AEM ITR Intake, BB 68mm Throttle Body, Skunk2 Intake Manifold Gen 1, Skunk2 Stage 2 Tuners, Crower springs/retainers, Hytech rep Nitrate coated header, Street tuned, 2.5 inch exhaust and makes about 195-200.

Check the videos on "DCIntegra20" and "JMan7523" On YouTube doin work
