Default question about civic stock strut/shocks with tein s tech and "extended top hat"

hi, i just have a simple question, will "extended top hats" work with stock strut/shocks with tein s tech springs? and would there be too much preload stress to the shocks? (if top hat won't fit, i know i can probably use a spring compressor to make room to make it fit). this is going to go in a 1999 civic dx hatch back.

How do you think extended "top hats" work exactly?

That, and an s tech spring isn't remotely low enough to warrant extended top hats.

I know the functions of a top hat but I just wanted to know if it's possible and woul it preload too much? I don't have stock hats right now and was just wandering if it would be possible or a good route.

I don't really see a problem using extended top hats with that setup. It's a waste of money if you ask me though. If you were to get them, only get them for the front, the rear definitely isn't necessary.

Forget about this preload stuff..

I know. I had never heard about preload until these "dumped car" kids and their function&form **** came around.

I still think the whole concept is silly.
