When I turn on the turn signal it blinks fine until I push on the breaks and then it stops blinking and stays lite up. Also even if I do no turn the blinker on when I hit the brake the right turn signal on the dash display lights up and the right blinker comes on but does not blink. Any ideas, is it an easy fix, or something to take in for service.

 

Check your bulbs, sounds like you have a short somewhere in connectors. Check for broken wiring by the connectors. Was the car ever in an accident?
