I have a 90 crx hf shell i just parted out and only thing left is the rear spindles and lca and front glass everything else is gone hole in the roof.. What do you guys think it weighs also the rear crash support is on it.. i was thinking 700LBS what do you guys think..

the best closes way to find out the weight is by going to your local gym, talk to a few body builders, have them come over and lift it up.. since they are body builders they will tell you a few pounds in the estimate of what it weighs.. if you are a shy person then i suggest for you to take it to a truck stop and throw that bish on the scale....

Considering I've seen them weigh in around 1000-1100 lbs completely stripped and still running 700 lbs isn't a bad guess.

im in the process of stripping a 1990 si crx and Ill just scrap the bare shell after Im done. I could use this info aswell

 

I sold my shell for 50$ im sure it might of been worth a little more.. .07cent per LB take it to a steel scrap yard not junkyard..

 

If you strip it down to a real shell two people can pick it up with ease.

 

so how much does it weigh

 

LOL! 2 of us picked the front of my old EF out of a ditch once. If 2 people can pick a shell up with ease it weighs way less than 700lbs.
