I am going be painting my Civic soon, but how much paint do I use and what techniques do you guys use when painting/preping to make the job smoother and better? Any tricks or tips?
I'm going to sand down the old faded factory paint, but not to the metal, just enough to get it uniform and even. Then I'll spray the primer, then spray the base coat, 2nd base coat and maybe a 3rd base coat and then clear.

How does that sound? Am I missing anything? I'm going to paint it championship white if it matters.

Yeah just do it with a Roller and trim brush. She'll look good!!

 

and I wonder why I even ask, this appearance forum is a joke. It's just so people can show off their rides, but offers no help at all!

I also wonder why the mods in the EF forum moved my same post to this forum! I was getting responses there at least!!!

noone wants to explaine the whole painting a car process to you

 

I hate to agree with such a blunt comment, but he's right. There is way more involved than I can type on one page. I tried writing a post a while back- it was like a good half page and still didn't cover near what it should.
