Default 13000 for a 2005 S2K?

Its a berlina Black s2000 with carbon fiber fenders, gram light rims? tires, brakes front and rear are new. 59K miles The only thing is theres a 3in. tear in the top and a small dent in the drivers door. Paint looks good, no fade or anything. No modifications besides rims. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

How much does a new top go for? I was thinking more like 12K for the car since the owner didnt really tack care of the exterior. Theres lots of water spots. Nothing that I couldent take out tho.

A new fabric top from the dealer is 600-800 depending if you have a discount or you can get a robbins top for around 450-500 online.

Hmm. thinking about goin hard top. Would they have it in the same berlina black as the car? I have some what of a discount but the hard top must cost more than the soft. I forgot to mention the car has been in one accident. which is why theres carbon fiber fenders now.

if you want to replace the hard top, it will cost you an arm and a leg to get it installed, i would go hard top for sure.

Good luck on finding a hardtop. Better luck going deep sea fishing for it these days than at a dealer etc.

i would ask for 12,000 or less if its salvage title. I got my 06 GPW clean title with 54,000 miles for 15,400.00 and everything was in good shape.

Ill keep that price in mind when/ if I get the car. How hard would it be to take off the soft top and install the hard top? Ive never worked on a S2K so Im not to sure how its mounted on.

Oh and whats a GPW?

grand prix white color. you dont need to take the soft top apart to install the hardtop. drop the top down and installed the hardtop over it. its simple and takes about 1-2 hours with two people.

To me, the price doesnt seem too bad. I just purchased an 04 with 80K in great shape for 12k...and if your not lucky enough to know someone that can get a discount at a honda dealership, it runs $1200. I just replaced one at the dealer i work at that was vandalized.

that seems pretty cheap to me. i'm in the process of looking for something similar and all the modded, low-mile 05's i've seen in my area are in the $15-18k range.
