Exhaust Science
I have an Airmass 4-2-1 header (http://www.jcwhitney.com/product.jht...D=362331&BQ=sc) and also have a Toucan Ind. Carbon Fiber Muffler with a 3" angle cut tip(http://www.jcwhitney.com/product.jht...D=341638&BQ=sc), None of these parts have been installed yet, I am plannign on redoing my entire exhhaust. I was wondering whether to go with a 2.25" catback or a 2.5" catback. I will be removing the cat and replacing it with a full length tube. Is 2.5" too big? The only mods I have is an AEM infender CAI but I am looking at adding a vortech supercharger. What do you guys think 2.25" or 2.5" (with or without supercharger)

There is a good article about exhaust sizes some where on hondatime ?? i think.
Anyway. 2.25 without supercharger, probably 2.5 with.
You don't want to have too big of an exhaust because that slows down the velocity of the exhaust. With smaller piping you create low pressure in the tube with a high velocity.

go to http://www.hondalife.com and check out the tech articles. they should answer all your questions about what size to use. i would say atleast get a header with a 2.5 collector and get 2.5 all the way back if your gonna get a supercharger
