JDM D15B cel codes and VTEC problem
Okay, I know there are 3 motors that are D15B. carb'd, VTEC and the 3 stage VTEC. I have the I suppose, one stage VTEC JDM D15B(One VTEC Sol. on my head).
My codes are:
16- Fuel Injectors
19- Auto lock Sol.
21- VTEC Spool Sol.
So my questions are,
16- How do i test the injectors?
19- I'm running an Automatic P28 ECU, So i know that answer
21- Huh?? This is my first VTEC motor in my 91 DX. I got the coversion from rywire (OBD0 to OBD1) with the added VTEC wires that plug into the ECU.
Also, there is this nasty idle problem i have. The car jumps from 800rpms to 3k rpms. That is my idle for about 4 months now and it pisses me off. Also, I'm using a a6 IM. Is that bad? VTEC isn't engaging too. I feel like i have a pretty bad-a$$ D series motor, but minus the perks of VTEC.
Sorry to make this long. But i just wanted to make it descriptive and help you help me by adding details.
Thanks all.
