2002 Honda Accord cranks, but does not start
Hey guys. I've been try to find the exact problem with my 2002 Honda Accord. It will crank, the electronics in the car works (radio, headlights, dashlights, etc...), yet it won't start. Now, it only happens overnight after 8 hours. I say after 8 hours because I will work an 8 hour shift and it will start just fine. It is only over night that this will happen. When I turn the ignition to "ON", i can hear the fuel pump and a click at the end. So the fuel pump works. Got the battery and alternator checked at autozone and its all good. The only way I can get the car started is if I get a jump from a friend. I don't know why, but that gets the car going, but it does.
Now I've been researching about this and I've noticed everyone else with the same type of problem I have is having to deal with the main relay. The only thing I've notice is that, like in most cases, the heat doesn't affect it at all.
Anyone else have this problem and fixed it by changing the main relay? I would hate to have to buy a main relay and the problem continuing.
Thanks for your feedback! Appreciate it greatly!

Yeah. I just wanted reassurance considering that part costs about 50 dollars with no returns. So, I wanted to be 100% on this. Like I said, if anyone had this problem and fixed it by changing the main relay, please post.
my two cents
If you get a jump, does it matter what time of day? Sounds like it is a battery issue. I would buy a battery at autozone or costco...make sure it is grounded correctly and on corrosion on the batt or ground terminals. Check neg to body ground is solid. This happens quite a bit. Again, make sure connections are solid.
Any chance you have two of the same main relays? Try swapping them?
