Dual Exhaust
Duel exuast on 4 Cyl. =
(joking)A rule of thumb I believe is that there should be one exhaust per header. Something like that, may be someone could correct me on this if its wrong.

Take it for what its worth.

You dont need a dual exhaust on a honda motor not enough back pressure there to make it worth anything. And also its just more weight on your car. For all show say if you had a black widow rear then maybe it would make sense to do dual exaust outside of that its a waste of money.
Dual exhaust will end up hurting you. When I first got my B16a CRX (About a year ago), it had dual 4" tips on it; coming from a FloPro muffler (Made for a V8). I took it off and put on a canister, and it was MUCH better. The dual sounded like shiet too.

ROFL,
You're comparing a S2k engine vs a CRX Si...
Lets go ahead and add the rear wheel drive to this CRX while we're puttin on the dual exhaust.

The only problem with dual exhaust is the cost. Do you think Honda would put daul exhaust on of its fastest 4cyl car if it hurts performance?
ijjz's right. there's no point to have one pipe that branches out into 2 when it gets to the back of the car. The stock S2000 might have 2, but the Spoon Sports and other Super Taikyu racing S2000s only have one. Makes you wonder.
What does the car being rear wheel drive have to do with it?!
I realize that the exhaust on an S2000 isn't a TRUE dual ehxaust so to speak, but it IS what he was talking about.
I do realize that there are better options on really high HP applications (race header) but I don't think you're going to lose HP with a dual exhaust.

Its not a true dual exhaust.. most of those dual exhausts are for looks... If you added a dual exhaust were the pipe runs into a muffler that has two exits.. it wont hurt anything.. but if you took two of you headerpipes and ran that to a muffler, and the other two pipes to another muffler, that would be a DUAL exhaust system and the car would run like Toby from the Po po.
The S2000 isnt a TRUE dual exhaust. it goes from teh header, to one pipe, to a muffler with 2 exits..
whtever.. dumb thread.. just get an exhaust.. no big differences anywhere in horsepower.. just sound.. asnd looks.
