rev problem

Default rev problem

hi i have a 91 dx hatchback and theres a d16z6 in it. its still running on the obd0 and the problem is that when it idles it revs up and down. i was told that im gonna need to get an obd0 throttle body and the problem will be solved. does anyone have any suiggestions? will that work or does it need some electrical work? any help would be appreciated

what is the rpm range its reving to and from? Sounds like vacuum problem. Could be a lot of reason for that.

From what I've heard this problem can be easily fixed by removing and cleaning your Fast Idle Thermo Valve, aka FITV. Search that and you should be good.

I don't have a tach in it, it's a dx. We changed it and cleaned it before we put it on and it's still having the same problem
