Default h22a no cells, no vtec

just swapped an h22a into my 94 accord. I am using a chipped ecu from rywire, my oil level is good, my vtec solenoid tested out ok. The car hits about 5500 then taps out. I have no check engine light or cells. I have reset the ecu and done some agressive driving as a precaution. What could be stopping vtec now?

What ECU and basemap did you order from Rywire? Does it hit a rev limit or just loose power at 5500?

Do you know anyone with an OBD1 P13, 93-95 SiVTEC Prelude ECU? that way you could try swapping out an OEM ECU and see if any CEL codes come up.
