SO my engine check light came on then went out tow day after then came back a day after then went out. when it came back i did a diagnostic and it is tell me the temperature not running at optimum level what does this mean anyone?

 

Do you have the exact code?

It sounds like you might need to replace your thermostat.

 

Which "temperature" are you referring to? Intake Air Temperature? Engine Coolant Temperature? Or are you talking about one of the Heated Oxygen Sensors?

As MindBomber mentioned, knowing which code it was throwing would help. What you're saying doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
