Default RLZ Engineering???

Ive been trying to get ahold of them but no answer. Ive finally gotten all my parts and Im ready to have the work done and its like they disappeared. If anyone knows how to get ahold of them or knows of something going on with then please let me know. Ive emailed them and called them with no response. I hear how good their work is and are close to me so I'd love to see what they can do. If this is posted in the wrong area please point me in the right direction. Thanks for any help.

Try email them, if not, i have brad's personal cell, i'll give him a call and see if there's a way for you to contact him directly.. but keep calling the shop, he'll answer.

I called 3 times, got no return call.

Finally sent an e-mail and got a response within 6 hours. Sent back another e-mail with some more questions and to finalize work. Got no response. Tried calling again and e-mailing with no response.

Took my business elsewhere. I don't care how good a business is if they can't do something as simple as returning a phone call or e-mail. Bad business. Lost my business, likely for good.

Probably why they don't answer the phone.

This should be considered ur warning sign. Even if you get a hold of them and pay them for work, expect the finished product in 10-20 years lol.

You'll probably have a new thread in a year with the headline "RLZ, where is my motor?"

I agree. There are a lot of guys that give great results, but their business practices leave something to be desired. I've heard that Brad is most concerned with the actual work and results. You tell him what you need, and he does it. He's not all that big on dealing with and advising customers. You have someone that's focused and talented like that and the business side sometimes falls by the wayside. Happens more often than people would like. This is why it's nice for customers when they have a shop/office mgr to take care of that stuff for them. But then, prices go up b/c they have to PAY that mgr.

I know that feeling (Not from RLZ, but from another highly respected Honda builder). This is also why you don't pay for everything before it's completed. At least leave yourself THAT leverage. Nothing is more infuriating to me than calling someone you've PAID for parts and services and they don't answer or return calls....

I heard their quality of work is extremely high which is why I wanted to give them my business. Wound up having needing to have more machine work done than I was planning which means they lost out on more money than they are aware of,

Would have gotten my business if I got a simple e-mail or phone call.

PM'd regarding this.

**Doesn't have anything to do w/ RLZ and has no place in this thread. I've never dealt w/ Brad first-hand. I was just empathizing with the frustration that can be experienced and giving my $.02 about matters like this.

HI,

Would suggest going to Portflow. Tom is a great guy and does a wonderful job.
Just got a head prepared by them. Very professional dealing.

And you can get a hold of them.

No need to deal with companies like this.

The way it works in the off-road suspension rebuild world... since most are on par and extremely similar to each other you choose the guy with the best customer care, turn around time, and ease of communication. I can't tell you how many people stay away from certain companies because they won't get back to you. I like being able to pick up the phone and call them directly, maybe leave a message, but by the end of the day they will get back to you. Heck I have had their personal cell phone numbers just to chat about different setups and what I am looking to do.

both of my rlz heads i got tru nah2b 1st is the allmotor 300cfm+ and the second with bronze guides is for turbo...last port is itr port for comparison...i got bothe in less than 3 weeks...i feel i was treated fairly..prices were fair for the work i wanted...

brad is a busy guy thats why he has nah2b(randy) handling his customer service...at 1st i email brad and took him 1 month to give me a quote on the turbo head and the price was for more than 300 more than what i ended up paying with nah2b...with randy i waited 1-2 days tops to answer the 1st pm then he kepted in contact ...

I also went through Randy (nah2b). Only took me 3 weeks to get the head back and the cnc port was badass and showed it with my results on a stock block h2b.

So I pmed nah2b today to see what he can do. Im trying to give them the benefit of the doubt because of how good I hear there work is. Plus im only 3 hrs away so I wont have to pay for shipping. I can just drop the parts off. If this doesnt work Ill be looking into the companies previouly suggested.

That's been the ONLY knock against Brad that I've ever heard...the whole arena of customer relations, keeping in contact, etc.

It's good that you're only 3 hrs away. I seriously doubt you'll regret having him do the work!
