93 Accord Clutch Pedal lost pressure out of the blue!
I jumped in my car to take my son to school this morning and the car started no problem but it would not go into gear at all and was just grinding out reverse. I am confused cause it just quit. No warning. Is is the Master cylinder? i really need a hand because my other car is currently down as well and this is my only driver now. Thank you very much for your time!
Yes check your clutch fluid level.
Once thats full or low, refill it and check to see if you master cylinder is leaking. Its on the front of the tranny a tad lower then your header to the left. It'll have a small little rubber boot on it that squishes in/ expands depending on clutch pedal position. You'll see it move when someone pushes down on the clutch pedal. After that check your clutch hardlines that run along the firewall, the slave cylinder on the other side of the firewall that attaches to the pedal.
Thats all i can think that would cause this. When mine did that it was my master cylinder but i did a new slave and master together and problem solve.
Just make sure you bleed all air out of your clutch lines after doing any work.
And FYI i might have mixed the master cylinder/ slave cylinder up, but i gave you their locations. Good luck!

Fill it back up, bleed, look for leaks. Either master or slave, but there is also a little rubber clutch line... Iirc it is located under the airbox, that can leak too. Good luck, and stop trying to force it in gear if your clutch has no pressure :ham: if you need to gtfo, like zombies are around, put it in 1st with the car off, start it, and the car will start to move, give it gas, rev match through the gears
Only use this in case of zombies, or a murderer

This has happened to me twice, both times it was the slave cylinder that had failed. New slave Cylinder should cost around $20. Not too hard to replace. It took me longer to bleed system than to replace the part (as I had to do it by myself).
