Default Emergency HELP ME! Please!!!!!!

Im at a friend right now. Ok i was driving on the road, put it in first gear, and then went to shift into 2nd, and it just like died. Now it wont go anywhere and like i put it into gear and it just rev's. Its a 91 HF CRX. Please help me out!

k, before you go start spending lots of money on a new tranny or something, check your clutch cable, make sure its still on there

do you think thats what it would be? Because i dont think i burned anything out, cause there was no loud noises or anything. Any pics online of the clutch cable, i gotta fix this before sun down.. like 40 mins. ahaha

sorry, dont got any pics at the moment, look on the tranny, there will be a cable that attaches to an arm that will move up and down, the arms about a foot long

Does the cable go like through a spring, or is it something different? I pushed on the clutch, and the thing with the spring seems to be working fine, is there anything else thats supposed to be attached to it?

make sure batery terminals are secure. ive had cars die b/c the **** pops off. clutch cable could have poped off, plug wire could have poped off.

I think it may be the tranny fluid, because earlier there was this stuff kept burning near the tranny, and now it dont work. Please someone help me out!

Well the battery seems to be working fine, how would this affect it just sittin there and not going into gear? Is the clutch cable the thing with the spring, or is it elsewhere..? Where is the url to that online CRX manual? Thank you.

popo your hood and look at the cable that runs to your tranny its big and black! it connects to a arm.....make sure its connected....or have a friend push in the clutch and you look at the arm on the tranny and see if it moves.
