hey i got a 91 civic new to this fourm its got a d15b2 i believe and starts every time as soon as you let out the clutch in gear it goes to 1200 rpm then starts breaking down miss fireing and back fireing and after 1400 rpm just breaks down and wont rev any higher as just driveing along downshifted from 4th to third let clutch out went 20 feet and started breaking down can anyone help really desperate as its my daily driver!!! thanks

 

maybe ignition coil? firing order 1-4-3-2, or timing, maybe jumped timing. how many miles? motor ever been rebuilt?

 

to all who helped out it was infact the screw inside the dist as for the car i found oil inside the cylinders and low and behold tranny let go too cars now in honda heaven rip 91 d16b2 .....anyone have a cheap 91 for sale in toronto gta????

 

Check on Kijiji. Otherwise..If you can wait a few weeks you can have my D16A6 with rebuilt head for real cheap..
