The best product to use on bumpers is called SEM Bumper Stripper in the can be sure to follow directions. It's safe and won't remove the factory primer. I also recommend having a pressure washer win its time to get the paint off it helps get it out of hard crevices

aircraft stripper will distort plastic and eat at it a bit

dont do it i used it o a bumper once and could not aling the mounting holes after it seemed to had warped it a bit

SEM bumper Stripper is great if the instructions are followed correctly I have use it on many bumpers that other shops messed up buy not using the correct sealers,trust me this is what I do for a living
