Default how many people here did just timing belt and water pump not tensioner

My wife's car got 100k and thinking about doing water pump and timing belt. I don't know if I have to change tensioner. If I don't have to do not want to do it since she always get into fender bender and car is not worth that much however car runs good.

If it runs well the I would do it just because. It's not necessary, but since you're gonna be in the vicinety, you might as well... I did my timing belt without the tensioner change though.... Only because I forgot to buy it...

It'll probably last two timing belts, just like the water pump, it's just a pain in the *** to change if it doesn't.

I didn't change mine until about 225k miles. There wasn't anything wrong with it at that point, but I had it apart, and figured it was probably due.
