Default lsv vs k20 vs lsv-t daily driver

Hi, so here's my deal i have a 97 hatch that, i have put in a ls vtec setup, it consists of a 4.4 final lsd tranny a b18b block with 130,000kms on it and a b16a2 head 200,000kms +, it was from my old b16 swap. when i did the bottom swap i f-ed up and i thought i had to use vtec head bolts, but recently found out it has to be b18c1 or c5 head bolts. my head gasket blew and when i tore it down i found 8 out of 10 head bolt threads pulled out of the block.

now i can rebuild it for a few hundred bucks, i have another good block with 90,000kms but my buddy stripped it acid dipped it then he was going to start a turbo build so i need to buy rings and bearings.

in a month or so we will be coming into some money so i will have the cash to turbo it or k swap it. both will run me approx the same. i found a eg coupe locally that has a k20a in it with 80,000kms for 6,400 i'm thinking buy that. swap over my ls/v sell it and have a k swapped ek. or i can do a mild high compression build on the ls/v with b16 pistons port and polish etc and maybe a ls fifth gear. or rebuild it and buy/build reputable turbo setup that will run 7-10psi

here's the biggest issue i drive the **** out of it and drive it in every weather condition snow, rain, extreme heat, and even a ton of salt in the winter. i will not be parking the car for winter i have studded snow tires for that.

so what is my better way to go? i want something faster then my stock ls vtec but still very reliable. considering all of the above please give me your advise and why. thanks

You want more power than you already have so that rules out your LSV and due to the way you say you drive your vehicles, way more can go wrong with them if it's boosted and the tune isn't perfect. A K motor is reliable as it sits and makes great power with bolt-ons, so easy choice.

There is PLENTY of info on both setups, more than enough to help you choose.
