Default 90 struts/springs

Hello all,

I'm new to owning a CRX (as of a couple of days ago) and I need new struts/shocks.. I am planning on using this as a DD, so i don't need anything ridiculous. I'm looking for recommendations cause i have no idea what i'm doing. Also, i have to pay for school so i was hoping for something >400ish..

Go for 1pc coilovers! Do it right. You get a better ride. 600 and you can get A brand new pair of funcion forms. Or find some used ones

tokico illuminas is all you need.

i think eibach prokit is a great spring for slight drop and good daily street performance.

find all sources of play in the front end that needs to be replaced. grab all components and shake.

Sure. But with the above set-up your going to be close or over $700. I am running Eibach pro's but with cheap Tokico HP's. Ride is nice. Not bouncy and handling is pretty good. Its only a 1.5" drop. Here is a pic.

Koni's are great. If your goin toward the strut and spring deal they would be the best way to go. I'm just a 1 PC man myself. As for lowering springs, I would go with nuespeed or tein.

Thanks! It's not a CRX but I will take the compliment. Btw, what is your goal for the suspension? Slammed, a little low... It might make it easier to help you out.

that 1.5" drop looks good with 15" rims, but what about us guys with stock 13" steelies? i would still be able to fit a football in my wheel well.

sorry, i didn't look close enough.. gorgeous either way

I want a decent ride (low price range, i might not even put struts/springs on it since I am trying to flip it) I don't care if it's a little low but nothing slammed...
