Icon2 2ndary cat cause slow acceleration?

93 civic cx, obd2 b18c1 and harness, obd1 p72 ecu .
When i installed the motor installed the secondary cat attached, and hooked up to my exhaust piping. Accelerating is somewhat laggy, just wondering if by this being installed and not being wired to my ecu, cause laggyness.

Not throwing cels.

Reason for being installed was I had a obd2 p72 installed, but to difficult to figure out.

Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks

It is attached after my cat , has the 4 wire secondary o2 on it, don't have it hooked up, tried to wire it to my obd2 p72 ecu but kept throwing cels for the blAck wire ( ground wires )
So I bought obd1 p72 ecu.

Just thought would it harm leaving it on until buy a new exhaust setup and could be the cause of laggyness in acceration
